Leather production – is a difficult process and a type of art, which was forming through the ages. Everyone who wants can visit a center of Russian leather production, see modern process of leather production, learn methods and equipment of production, which were applied in production more than a century ago, learn new technological developments of not only production, but recycling of wastes as well. And everyone can participate in producing of souvenirs from leather.
During the excursion you will pass the route from the very beginning of leather production, when raw materials are brought to the factory, to the stage of high quality leather finishing. You will make a tour to a tanning’s history, will learn special features of production of such a common and well known material, learn main stages of wastes treatment. As well you will visit our museum, where you can find automobile, aviation and furniture exposition, historical sketches of leather production are created, habitual and necessary products are shown which are results of leather wastes recycling.
